That's one of the reasons it's so dangerous.<br /><br />Heck, look at the Catholics. They believe that a cracker actually - <i>literally</i> - turns into the body of Jesus Christ. And then they eat it.<br /><br />They believe that wine <i>literally</i> turns into his blood. And then they drink it.<br /><br />Muslims - and even some <a href="http://garthright.blogspot.com/2011/10/defending-deuteronomy.html" rel="nofollow">Christians</a> - believe it's OK to stone a woman to death if she loses her virginity before marriage. Well, that's what their magic books say.<br /><br />Religion makes even sane people believe crazy things and makes even good people do evil things. Most believers aren't crazy, but you couldn't tell that from what they purport to believe.
