Note the first words in that article: "Wyoming, the nation's top coal-producing state..."<br /><br />One of the huge strengths of science is that it's based on demonstrable evidence, so it comes to a worldwide consensus on what's true and what isn't. But the president of the Wyoming Board of Education wants science standards that are "Wyoming standards."<br /><br />In other words, Wyoming is just going to believe whatever the hell it wants to believe, and then call that "science."
