George Carlin

George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" stand-up comedy routine is rather famous (or infamous, if you prefer), but I'd never seen it. Well, here's a ten-minute excerpt, a video clip on FunnyorDie.com. Or if you prefer, here's the same thing on YouTube (unfortunately, you can't trust YouTube to keep that link active).

Needless to say, it's NOT safe for work,... but it's really funny. George Carlin was a very funny guy! These days, all too many comedians seem to go for the lowest common denominator, the 13-year-old demographic (not to insult 13-year-olds), with this kind of stuff, but Carlin was clever with it. And very, very funny.

I've got to admit that I'm partial to his "Religion is Bullshit" routine, too.
