Birds dying because of DADT repeal?

You know, it's hard to invent anything funnier than what these people say themselves:
According to biblical principles, marriage is between a man and a woman, so we have to say “what happens when a nation makes a decision that is against God’s principles?” Well, often what happens is that nature itself will begin to talk to us – for instance, violent storms, flooding.

Of course! Of course! How could anyone believe that global warming might be increasing the number of violent storms, just because those egghead scientists predicted it, when it's clearly just God having a hissy fit?

And you know there are actually some patterns that you can see where a nation will make a decision that is contrary to the principles of God and after that there is some kind of answer that God gives - being the God of creation, the God who created nature - but we don’t always understand what He’s saying.

Yeah, it's really a shame that God doesn't speak English, isn't it?

And of course, we didn't have any violent storms, any flooding, before DADT, did we? In fact, back when we were still burning witches and heretics alive, faithfully following God's orders, the weather was always perfect. We enjoyed nothing but gentle breezes, just enough to keep the bonfires nice and hot. And it only rained at night - and just the right amount for every farmer.

I keep pulling out this quote - maybe I need to have cards printed up - by Sir Francis Bacon: "The general root of superstition is that men observe when things hit, and not when they miss, and commit to memory the one, and pass over the other."

This video is nothing but pure superstition - and a desperate need to find "evidence" to back up their beliefs (and to disregard any contrary evidence).

Well, there’s something interesting we have been watching – let’s talk about this Arkansas pattern and say, could it be a pattern? We’re going to watch and see. But the blackbirds fell to the ground in Beebe, Arkansas. Well, the Governor of Arkansas’ name is Beebe. And also, there was something put out of Arkansas called "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" by a former Governor - this was proposed - Bill Clinton. As so, could there be a connection between this passage... and now that we’ve had the repeal of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, where people now legally in the United States have broken restraints with the Scripture because the Scripture says in Romans 1 that homosexuality is not allowed?

It could be because we have said it’s okay for people who commit these kinds of acts to be recognized, you know, in our military for the first time in our history, there is a potential that there is something that actually happened in the land where a hundred thousand drum fish died and also where these birds just fell out of the air.

Heh, heh. Hilarious, don't you think? Although,... it's pretty scary, too. We're just naked apes, and not too long out of the trees, either. But these days, we desperately need to rise above our primitive beginnings and to solve the problems our burgeoning numbers are creating for the whole planet.

This kind of superstition, this kind of fantasy, this kind of ignorance is holding us back, and we just can't afford that anymore. We know how to think. Apparently, we just don't want to.
