Well, all this is interesting to me, anyway, and that's what matters here. The Internet is a terrible thing for someone like me, who finds almost everything interesting.

Neurotology music video
From Saturday Night Live, of course. Gee, I wonder which religion they could be parodying in this one? :)
Unlikely, John. I mean, you have to wonder how cults like that can get established at all, don't you?
People who will fall for Scientology in the first place are unlikely to abandon it because of criticism. And I didn't see the Catholic Church losing members in droves because of the child rape scandal. Faith-based is faith-based.
At best, things like this might slow their growth. When you become a laughing-stock, it does have some effect, even on the faith-based. Of course, they'll likely just find some other cult.
Actually, Scientology is very skillful at creating videos - or the people they hire are. It's all bullshit, of course, but with topnotch production values.
I hope that movie and things like this destroy that creepy cult.

That looks just like a real Scientology video (or at least the way I imagine one to be)! Really funny....

DeleteBut yeah, I thought this was funny, too. :)
