Well, all this is interesting to me, anyway, and that's what matters here. The Internet is a terrible thing for someone like me, who finds almost everything interesting.

Democrats suck at voting
Samantha Bee is exactly right. Democrats suck at voting. Even now! Even after 2000, 2010, 2014, and 2016.
How depressing is that? Protesting is great, but it's going to be absolutely useless without voting - and voting for the Democratic alternative when you do. (If you want better alternatives, vote in the primary, too!)
This isn't rocket science, people. In a democracy, we get the kind of governments we deserve.
You know, I always thought that "lazy" was being a bit hard on Americans who work longer hours than people in any other developed country. Really, pretty much every study shows that.
I just figured that Republican politicians had spent so many years blaming poverty on laziness that Americans had bought into the propaganda we've been bombarded with (although most Americans say that it's all those other people who are lazy).
But then came November, when more than 90 million Americans couldn't even be bothered to vote. (In the recent Dutch election, they had an 81% turnout. 81%!)
And November pretty well proves the "dumb" part, too - especially given the results. So who knows?
We get the government we deserve because we believe EVERYTHING we see on TV. Per Keith Olbermann:

We're too dumb and lazy for our own good.

Yeah, I like Keith Olbermann, Jeff. Resist!
