The GOP, winning through process innovation

"Death tax"? "Clear Skies Initiative"? "Save and strengthen entitlements"? Will this continue to work for Republicans?

On the one hand, if you're watching Sean Hannity on ~~Ferret~~ Fox 'News,' you're already brainwashed enough to accept almost anything, I suspect, no matter what they call it.

On the other hand, the GOP has a lot of money to waste - some of it yours and mine, thanks to Citizens United. If it were just Fox 'News,' it wouldn't be a problem. And I don't see people getting a whole lot smarter, I'm afraid.

I'd be a lot happier if the GOP just decided not to be "the stupid party," as Bobby Jindal suggested. Then again, it's pretty clear from Jindal's own positions that his comment was just a re-branding attempt itself. He doesn't plan to actually change any of his loony policies. That was just more marketing.
