Isaac Asimov on the greenhouse effect

Yes, we've known about this for a long, long time. We just haven't been willing to do anything about it, to our everlasting shame.

And even today, people stick their head in the sand and refuse to believe what they don't want to believe. Well, when ignorance is comforting, you don't look for knowledge, I guess.
