Hmm,... I think Rick Perry is getting desperate, don't you?
As far as Herman Cain, well, I never thought his candidacy was serious or that he had much of a chance at the nomination, whatever the polling numbers might say. Cain is just as big a loon as the rest of them, but as Jonathan Chait points out, his popularity doesn't necessarily mean that Republicans want to elect him president.
Still, maybe my interpretation of his campaign ad wasn't too far off the mark, huh? Heh, heh. Well, to paraphrase Jon Stewart, Mitt Romney is definitely the luckiest politician in the world.

I watched the video after this one "How a Bill Doesn't Become a Law" Wyatt Cenac reports on the death of H.R. 3472. That video was great. Informative and hilarious.
I watched that, too, John, but they really didn't tell us much about the bill - or why there was opposition.
