Yeah if the government gets a backdoor to my I-phone I'm getting another phone or using encryption apps. And I'm not doing anything illegal it's just not anyone else's business. Plus the key could be stolen.
Well, I don't have a dog in that fight, John. If the government wants to tap my wall-phone, they're welcome to do so, as long as they also answer the phone for me, so I don't have to deal with the telemarketers. :)
Wow, you dont have a cell phone Bill? How do you get online when you dont want to get off the couch? I'm sort of joking, but I am writing this with my cell because I didnt want to get off the couch.
Heh, heh. Yeah, funny, isn't it? But I've never liked to talk on the phone, and I've always had internet access at home and at work (when I was working).
Honestly, the last thing I want is to be connected to the rest of humanity all the time. :)
When I was working, we all argued very hard to avoid carrying a cell phone (or a pager, before cell phones were common).
Anyway, as of last week, I know one other person who also doesn't have a cell phone - one. I was surprised at that, because before that, I thought I was the only person in Nebraska without one. Heh, heh.
Of course, I kind of like being 'special.' LOL
A guy that volunteers at my library (he's in his 60s) didn't have a cell, but he just got one so he could text with one of his friends. It's not a smart phone though.
