I got to talking to some gun owners here in my PA neighborhood. They laughed at me and said they werent giving up their AR-15s. It is gonna be interesting. They think I'm a crazy liberal who lives in a cartoon land because I dont own a gun

Yeah, John. I understand if you're a hunter. I grew up with guns. But the paranoia these days is just nuts. How did people become such cowards, all of a sudden?

An AR-15? Who in the hell needs an AR-15? You know, machine guns have been illegal for private ownership for decades. What's next? Will the NRA decide that every gun nut needs his own machine gun? Second Amendment!

It's not you who's living in a cartoon-land, John, not at all.

Yeah seriously, one guy was like, well, I hope we don't end up in the same foxhole because you're gonna be nothing but a bullet blocker and then a sandbag. These guys are all convinced that the police and the military can't protect them from I don't know what, a Muslim invasion, a government collapse.

They're living in a fantasyland, John. I suppose they've watched too much television or something. But it's not reality-based, that's for sure.
