Unfortunately, as Ron White said, "You can't fix stupid."
Remember when "M*A*S*H*" used to be on TV? Dr. Sidney Freedman, the psychiatrist, described depression as "anger turned inward." That's how I feel when I'm having one of my "black dog" days, as Winston Churchill described it.
BTW, anger turned sideways is Hawkeye. :)
Anger turned sideways is better for all of us, Jeff. That's why losing Jon Stewart hurts so bad. It's hard to imagine that his replacement will be that good.
I just hope that Stephen Colbert gives us plenty of political humor on the Late Show. It's not going to be the same thing, but maybe it will be good, anyway?
OK, I'm just getting depressed, now. I need to wait and see.
