Could gun-nuts get any stupider?

Is this the kind of society Republicans want? Or only the kind of society a handful of lunatics - and the NRA (or is that redundant?) - want?

What kind of human being would think that this is a good thing? Not a sane one, certainly. And do we really want crazy people walking around with assault rifles and 100-round clips?
