That looks just like a real Scientology video (or at least the way I imagine one to be)! Really funny....
Unlikely, John. I mean, you have to wonder how cults like that can get established at all, don't you?
People who will fall for Scientology in the first place are unlikely to abandon it because of criticism. And I didn't see the Catholic Church losing members in droves because of the child rape scandal. Faith-based is faith-based.
At best, things like this might slow their growth. When you become a laughing-stock, it does have some effect, even on the faith-based. Of course, they'll likely just find some other cult.
Actually, Scientology is very skillful at creating videos - or the people they hire are. It's all bullshit, of course, but with topnotch production values.
But yeah, I thought this was funny, too. :)
