BTW,what are your thoughts on the LJS putting up a "paywall?"
Thanks for the link, Jeff. I can't imagine why this election is even close! Have we Americans completely lost our minds?
Re. the Lincoln Journal Star paywall, I'm not surprised. It's a business, after all, and they're all trying to find a new revenue model in the online age.
I was unhappy when the New York Times did that, but the LJS paywall just means that I'll save some time for other things. I can't keep up with everything on the Internet anyway, and if I really need to comment, I've got this blog.
I was just seduced into commenting there. It's the old problem of someone on the Internet being wrong. :) So it might very well be a good thing.
The LJS's webpages are chock full of ads and they still have to put up a paywall to raise revenue? Sheesh....
Besides, a few computer nerds have already said the best way to get around the paywall is to clear your browser history, cookies and all.
'Face Palm'. If that idiot gets elected he'll start a war with Iran sooner than anyone can say 'what did that guy just say?!? WHAT DID THAT &^%^&^%$ JUST SAY!!!!????!!!!'
Ah, but a war with Iran is exactly what the Republican Party wants, m1nks - as long as they don't have to fight in it or pay for it.
For chickenhawks, a war is great fun, letting them feel as macho as Rambo, without being inconvenienced in the slightest. And then there's all that lovely money flowing to defense contractors...
