Well, all this is interesting to me, anyway, and that's what matters here. The Internet is a terrible thing for someone like me, who finds almost everything interesting.

Anderson Cooper interviews Wakefield
I mentioned this story earlier today, but I had to post this video clip, when I saw it. Anderson Cooper does a great job, doesn't he?
And I have to say that it's a perfect example of why you should not get your medical beliefs from actresses and politicians!
Unfortunately, Rep. Dan Burton is like most Republicans in his dismissal of science (though I hope most aren't this foolish). They'd rather believe what they want to believe, rather than look to the scientific evidence.
But how dumb do the rest of us have to be to elect these people to public office?
I'm a skeptic. I think it makes sense to have reasons for what I believe, so I apportion my belief to the evidence. You're welcome to disagree. Please, tell me I'm wrong. I probably don't agree with anyone about everything. Why should disagreement be a problem?
