John Boehner can claim that taxation - by our elected representatives in a democratic nation, no less - is stealing, and no one even notices. But let Barack Obama mix up Star Trek with Star Wars - in one brief three-word metaphor - and that's news!
But I suppose we get the kind of media we deserve, huh? Well, at least we get better comedians than we probably deserve. :)

OK, I have a confession to make: When I saw that quote, I immediately thought, "Spock, not Darth Vader, did the mind meld."
