The Bible in ten minutes

OK, it's not the entire Bible. It's part 1 & 2 of the History Channel's "The Bible" (the History Channel being to history what Dr. Pepper is to doctors).

I haven't seen "The Bible," but ten minutes seems to be more than enough of that. And have you ever tried to read the Old Testament? You'd be surprised at just how boring it is. Yeah, rape and mass murder and incest made boring, imagine that!

So, trust me, ten minutes is definitely all the time you want to spend on it. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Eve in this video, but you had to know that was just a tease, right? Otherwise, this is pretty good.

If he hadn't of used so much profanity, I could have sent this to my cousins who were watching this series. I got a kick out of it though.

Yeah, Jim. I feel like I'm getting old - well, I am getting old - because I, too, notice the casual profanity.

I wonder what younger people use for emphasis these days, since profanity is just... everyday conversation. Well, that's age, huh?

I find myself using profanity more, too - in blog posts, at least. But I can't imagine how I'd express emphasis (I already use way too much italics) without reserving profanity for those... special occasions. :)
